Science of Cooking

Science of Cooking is a weekly student club where students will have fun cooking/creating children-friendly snacks and foods in the kitchen.  Although many say cooking is an art, the science of cooking will help them to make the most scrumptious cookies, muffins, elements of a meal etc... We’ll investigate different methods of cooking, buying/farming ingredients, and test different ingredients to get the best results. Students will learn basic skills, identify kitchen utensils, and learn from professionals (TED Talks, guest speakers, etc…). 

Hopefully, this club will help students become great young chefs at home. Parents could use the help!

General safety is of utmost importance, therefore there is a limit to the size of each cooking group: there will be two groups. See you in the kitchen!
