S.U.R.F is our school-wide Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) system. Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) is a proactive approach used in our school to promote positive behavior and create a supportive learning environment. It focuses on teaching and reinforcing good behavior through clear expectations, consistent consequences, and rewards. PBIS is designed to reduce disciplinary issues, improve school climate, and increase academic performance by emphasizing positive behaviors rather than focusing on punishment.
