Smithville Elementary School of the Galloway Township Public Schools, is dedicated to fostering a positive learning environment that emphasizes social and emotional growth, alongside academic excellence. Our school-wide Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) system encourages restorative practices, resilience, and active participation from both students and staff. With a focus on Self Control, Understanding, Respect and Fairness (SURF). We offer student-centered, hands-on learning experiences enriched with technology to promote engagement and achievement. Our comprehensive support services, including counseling, ESL programs, and specialized classrooms, ensure that every student’s unique needs are met. Since opening in 1991, Smithville has been committed to preparing students for success in the 21st century, providing a robust education complete with a full technology lab and maker space design spaces.
