Dear Families,
The marking period has come to a close and report cards are now available.
In grades 6-8, there is an overall numeric (0- 100)/letter (A-F) grade. These ratings consist of the academic assessments throughout the quarter. Student skills such as participation, effort, etc. are reported through teacher comments.
Our parent/guardian portal, OnCourse Connect, has been a resource to view your child’s progress. At this time, the official report cards for the marking period are now posted on the portal (visit https://gtps.oncourseconnect.com and login using your Parent/Guardian credentials). There is a link on the dashboard tab under “grades.” (see screenshot below):
Additionally, graded assignments throughout the marking period can be viewed by clicking on the link to the student’s grade in OnCourse Connect:
If you need assistance, a video providing an overview of OnCourse for families can be found here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Av721Z6jzko&t=1941s. To find the section on report cards, start at minute 14:25.
Thank you for your attention to this, and have a great day!
