What is R.O.A.R.?
The Roland Rogers Elementary School Positive Behavioral Intervention System (PBIS) program emphasizes values through the acronym R.O.A.R., which stands for Respect, Opportunity, Achievement, and Responsibility. Students from kindergarten to sixth grade are encouraged to embody these principles daily, fostering a positive and supportive school environment. This approach promotes behavioral, social, and emotional development among students by reinforcing positive behaviors and interactions. Students earn R.O.A.R. tickets for exhibiting these attributes, which can be redeemed for various prizes. Additionally, the tickets provide students with entries into the monthly raffle, where they have a chance to win exciting prizes.
