What is B.A.R.K.?
The Reeds Road School Positive Behavior Intervention System (PBIS) program emphasizes values through the acronym B.A.R.K., which stands for Best Effort, Always Cooperating, Respect for All, and Kindness Matters. Students from kindergarten to sixth grade are encouraged to embody these principles daily, fostering a positive and supportive school environment. This approach aims to promote behavioral, social, and emotional development among students by reinforcing positive behaviors and interactions. Students earn BARK tickets for exhibiting these attributes, which can be redeemed for various prizes. Additionally, the tickets provide students with entries into the monthly raffle, where they have a chance to win exciting prizes.
